Adult Sunday School

All of our Adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 on Sunday morning. Each one ends at about 10:30, which means you will have plenty of time to grab a snack and some coffee at our fellowship time, The Gathering, or come warm-up with the choir.

All are welcome to Sunday School. Learn more about each class below.

Class a

This class is taught by Stanley Kerlin and John Johnston.

The direction of the class is guided by an educational book that focuses on history, scripture, and fellowship.

There is usually a hymn-sing to start each class!

This class meets in the sanctuary.

class b

Class B is taught by Richard Rotz.

This class focuses on scripture by reading through a book in the Bible aloud. They take their time to consider each paragraph, sentence, or word that catches their attention. This class is all about asking questions and exploring possible answers.

This class meets in the Fellowship House living room.

class c

Class C is taught by Wayne MacDonald and Gary Ankney.

This class is more lecture-based than our other classes, using videos and CDs to access content from around the world.

This class meets in the Fellowship House meeting room.

Children's Sunday School

Our children are offered Sunday School lessons during worship. Our nursery attendant, Connie Brown, takes the children from worship following the Children's Time and provides them with activities and little lessons.

We are working on growing our children and youth ministry at MUPC. Pastor Emily has been working to expand these programs, and more work will be done in the near future. If you would like to get involved in growing or changing our program, please contact Pastor Emily at pastor@mupc.org or come visit us in worship on Sunday!
